Sebastian Stan Details Bald Hair Transformation in Fjord

Sebastian Stan felt like a different man with his recent hair transformation. 

The Avengers star revealed that after he shaved the top of his head to create a balding appearance for his latest role in the forthcoming film Fjord, he “of course” had to get used to seeing himself in the mirror. 

“It’s the point,” Stan told E! News’ Will Marguggi in a joint interview with director Cristian Mungiu of his onscreen look before quipping, “I mean, it’s just liberating when you’re not always looking at your stupid face.”

In the film, which hits theaters Oct. 9, Stan plays Romanian patriarch Mihai Gheorghiu, whose family comes under the scrutiny of Norway’s judicial system following an incident with his children.

In the project, the A Different Man actor looks nearly unrecognizable as he ditches his signature brunette locks for a clean shaven ‘do in the center of his head.

But the best part about the total transformation was how low lift it was compared to other projects he’s worked on.
