1,000-Lb Sisters’ Amy Slaton Releasing Country Rap Song, Music Video

Amy Slaton is adding some more weight to her resume.

The 1,000-Lb Sisters star announced that she will be releasing her first song, “Pounds Hollow,” with a teaser of the AI-generated country track.

“If you use AI to do anything, you didn’t do it,” her older brother Chris Combs said in a clip from the upcoming 11th season of the TLC show featured in the Aug. 18 video, to which Slaton wrote on the screen, “but I did tho…”

Slaton—who shares kids Gage Halterman, 5, and Glenn Halterman, 4, with ex-husband Michael Halterman—shared insight into the creative process, emphasizing that this is just the beginning of her new venture.

“From an idea in my head to the music, filming, editing, and finally watching everything come to life—this one means a whole lot to me,” she captioned the Aug. 18 Instagram post. “This whole experience has been something I’ll never forget. I’m learning as I go, trying new things, stepping outside my comfort zone, and showing my boys that you’re never too old to chase a dream or try something you’ve never done before.”
