Taylor Swift, Kylie Jenner Hug After Knicks’ Win Against Spurs
Kylie Jenner and Taylor Swift took the first step towards being friends, and fans are dying to see how this one ends.
The pair were both sitting courtside during the New York Knicks’ June 10 game against the San Antonio Spurs, getting a front-row seat to the biggest comeback victory in NBA finals history thanks to a critical tip-in from OG Anunoby.
In fact, the energy in Madison Square Garden was so electric after the game that Jenner and Swift overcame the awkward history between them, exchanging a friendly greeting and a hug on the court as seen in clips shared to social media.
As for why the hug is significant, any Swiftie or Kardashians fan will be quick to detail the Grammy winner’s 2016 drama with Jenner’s older sister Kim Kardashian and her then-husband Kanye “Ye” West.
At the time, Kardashian shared a clip of a phone call that made it seem like Swift had given permission for West—whose own fraught relationship with Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her at the MTV Video Music Awards—to include the lines, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b—h famous,” in his song “Famous.”
