Rosie O’Donnell Says Michelle Trachtenberg Was in “Pretty Bad Shape” During Final Years

Now and then Rosie O’Donnell reflects on her new look.

The Emmy winner shared insight into how her recent weight loss, as well as her subsequent facelift, has shifted her life for the better.

“Mounjaro changed my life,” O’Donnell told People of her experience with the weight loss drug in an interview published July 21. “I couldn’t even pronounce it at first.”

But after a health diagnosis, the Now and Then actress—mom to kids Parker, 31, Chelsea, 28, Blake, 26, and Vivienne, 23, with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter as well as 13-year-old Clay with late ex-wife Michelle Rounds—knew it was time to take the reins when it came to managing her health.

“I started three years ago when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes,” she recalled. “I was stunned at how it quieted the food noise. I’ve had trouble with my weight my whole life. I know the shame and humiliation dealt to people who are overweight.”

“My kids would come home from trick-or-treating with pillowcases full of candy and hide it,” she added. “Smart children. I’d wake up at three in the morning and go, ‘There’s a Nestlé’s Crunch bar somewhere.’ I couldn’t help myself.”
