Meanwhile, Madison’s cronies Daniel (Orlando Lucas) and Danielle (Ella Lucas) are perfect replicas to Tess’ backup singers Ella (Anna Maria Perez de Taglé) and Margaret “Peggy” Dupree (Jasmine Richards). When Connect 3 makes their grand appearance at The Final Jam to pick their opener, a member from the audience mimics Shane’s most famous line from the first movie by yelling, “That’s Shane Grey for crying out loud!” 

And later, Mitchie gives Sage her ultimate stamp of approval by repeating the now-iconic compliment she paid Caitlyn Geller (Alyston Stoner) in Camp Rock. Following Sage’s Final Jam performance, she uses the same descriptor for Caitlyn’s DJ skills, exclaiming, “She’s really good.”
