Colorado quarterback Kaidon Salter had a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown but was inconsistent in his first game leading the Buffaloes’ offense after transferring from Liberty to succeed Shedeur Sanders.

The game ended up being a sign of things to come for both teams. Georgia Tech won its next seven games and spent most of the season in the College Football Playoff picture before a 1-3 finish to the regular season. Colorado slumped to a 3-9 record.
