$300 for Pep Guardiola’s whistle? Manchester City put items from ex-manager’s office up for auction
Supporters who wish to own a piece of Manchester City history from the last decade now have the chance, with the club listing items belonging to their former manager Pep Guardiola for auction.
Guardiola, 55, spent 10 incredibly successful seasons at City, winning six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, five Carabao Cups and the Champions League. He left the club at the end of the 2025-26 season and was replaced by ex-Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca.
The items do not come cheap however, with the most expensive item — a special football celebrating Erling Haaland being the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals that is signed by the City striker himself — holding a highest bid of £2,970 ($3,986) as of Monday evening.
According to MatchWornShirt, the sports memorabilia site that is listing the items for sale, the ball is one of only three that were ever produced, with the club’s archives preserving one and the other belonging to Haaland.
Among the other office items on sale are a whistle used in training sessions by Guardiola, with a current bid of £230 ($308.83), and his office desk chair, which has reached over £500 ($671.37). A set of coffee cups are also available, as is an incense collection belonging to the 55-year-old manager.
This is in addition to a set of pitch pads with notes written down by Guardiola, though those who wish to untangle the Spaniard’s revered tactics might find that the first challenge is to decipher his handwriting. Guardiola’s training ground, branded with his initials, is also on offer. All the items are on sale until 3pm on Sunday, July 26.

Guardiola had one more year remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, but opted to leave this summer.
“Ten years is a lot of time, and I think the club needs a new manager, new energy with these incredible players that we have right now, and start to write another chapter,” he said at his final pre-match press conference in May.
“I feel I will not have the energy that’s required daily, every three days, expectations to fight for the titles, and being in front of the players. I know myself, I have energy this season, but I feel that I will not have (more).
“I like to feel that my vibe or my energy will be there forever. So I like feeling that in the bad moments when someone wants to look there and (thinks of) Pep, OK, I will send good energy for the team, for the club.”
City, last season’s League Cup and FA Cup winners, face Premier League champions Arsenal in the Community Shield on August 16. They then begin their league campaign against Bournemouth on August 23.
