While this does not guarantee induction with the class of 2025, the top seven will comprise a fan ballot that’s tallied with ballots from an international voting panel composed of more than 1,200 artists, historians and music industry professionals who ultimately determine this year’s inductees.
Voting in the fan ballot — which began Feb. 12 when the 2025 induction nominees were first announced — concluded on Monday with a total of 2,553,233 votes.
The class of 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be announced live on “American Idol” this Sunday, April 27.
Cleveland will not be hosting this year’s induction ceremony. It will be held in Los Angeles this fall.
