New Truliant office to open in Charlotte’s SouthPark area
Truliant also secured naming rights to the well-known building.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Truliant Federal Credit Union is set to open a new regional office in Charlotte this summer, choosing a prominent building in the city’s bustling SouthPark area.
The credit union will take over part of an eight-story building at 5970 Fairview Road, securing naming rights to the historic building and leasing 16,700 square feet on the third floor.
This move is big news for Truliant, which currently employs over 100 people in the Charlotte area.
The neighborhood is a hot spot for businesses, shopping and dining – making it perfect for Truliant’s expansion there, the credit union said.
“We are excited to secure naming rights for this historic building in the SouthPark area,” said Todd Hall, Truliant’s president and CEO. “This location is prominent, well-respected and aligns with our culture and values.”
The new office will be a central hub for Truliant’s commercial and mortgage lending teams. It’s not just about having a new address – it’s about growing their business and supporting local communities, leadership said.
Judy Wishnek, senior vice president and market president in Charlotte, explained the significance: “This new regional office begins an exciting chapter for Truliant in Charlotte and the surrounding region. It signals our commitment to our members, businesses, and partners.”
The office will support various teams, including commercial lending, training, IT, and community operations. However, it won’t be a traditional bank branch where customers can walk in and make transactions.
Truliant serves over 340,000 members across North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
