Lil Wayne exclusive 3-show tour includes Charlotte concert
The legendary rapper announced an exclusive three-performance slate of shows with special guests Hot Boys.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Lil Wayne is returning to the Queen City as part of an exclusive three-performance series of shows at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center.
Weezy will share the stage with special guests Hot Boys (B.G., Juvenile & Turk) on Sunday, Feb. 23. Pre-sale tickets are available through 11:59 p.m. Thursday with general on-sale starting this Friday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m. Click here to purchase tickets.
The rest of the iconic rapper’s exclusive slate will see him perform in Tampa, Florida, on Friday, Feb. 21, and St. Louis on Friday, Feb. 28.
Known for hip-hop hits such as “A Milli,” “Hustler Musik” and “Lollipop (feat. Static Major),” Lil Wayne rose to prominence in the music world during the 2000s with albums such as “Tha Carter II,” “Tha Carter III” and “FWA.”
Lil Wayne and Hot Boys last shared the stage at last year’s sold-out Lil’ WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans, the former’s birthplace, event organizers said in a news release. The show marked the first time the group had performed together in 15 years.
