Hong Kong builds artificial nests to save endangered cockatoos
Researchers in Hong Kong are installing artificial nest boxes to help yellow-crested cockatoos breed after most natural cavities were lost to typhoons and tree cutting. The species is endangered, with only about 150 in the city and around 2,000 worldwide.
