Charlotte’s Beyond Amazing Donuts announces closure
Saturday will be the last day for the south Charlotte donut shop.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Beyond Amazing Donuts, a south Charlotte small business, has announced an upcoming permanent closure.
Jasmine Macon, who has used social media to proudly share her journey as the owner of both a Black-owned and woman-owned small business, announced her shop’s last day will be Saturday.
On Instagram, the owners wrote:
It is with a very heavy heart that I share that Beyond Amazing Donuts will be closing its doors this Saturday due to unexpected circumstances beyond our control.
This isn’t the way I imagined our journey in this space would end, and it’s not a decision I made lightly.
The timeline has been abruptly shifted, and while it’s been incredibly hard to process, I’m choosing to hold onto the love and support we’ve received from all of you over the past year.
To every customer who stood in line, every parent who brought their kids in for a treat, every vendor who believed in us, and every friend who cheered us on—you’ve meant the world to me. This space was built with heart, intention, and a whole lot of donuts, and I’m so proud of what we created together.
We’ll be open this week until Saturday, and we would love to see your faces one last time before we close. Come grab your favorites, share a hug, and help us celebrate the beauty of what we built—even if it’s ending sooner than we hoped.
This isn’t goodbye forever. Just goodbye for now.
