Arsenal value Gabriel Jesus at up to £20m; multiple clubs have enquired about striker
Arsenal will demand up to £20million ($26.8m) for striker Gabriel Jesus this summer.
Sources have told The Athletic that multiple clubs have enquired about the 29-year-old’s situation this summer and have been quoted between £18m ($24.1m) and £20m ($26.8m) by the Premier League champions.
Brazil international Jesus, who won his fifth English top-flight title this season, has 12 months left on his contract.
He only played half of the campaign after spending a considerable period on the sidelines with a knee ligament injury suffered in January 2025.
But Jesus scored six goals in 27 appearances after returning in December, including the opener in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on the final day.
Jesus will be available to leave the Emirates on a free transfer when his terms expire in June 2027. It is understood Arsenal will not consider selling him cheaply before then.
The vastly experienced forward had worked with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta at Manchester City and followed him to north London in 2022.
In December, Jesus reiterated his desire to stay in north London while revealing that he would “love” to return to his boyhood club Palmeiras one day.
He said: “People have asked ‘Why don’t you just leave? Why don’t you go to Saudi? Or back home to Brazil?’
“One day, I would love for everything to come full circle with Palmeiras, but not today. I feel that I have unfinished business at Arsenal. I don’t want to leave.”
Alongside Oleksandr Zinchenko, who also made the move from the Etihad to the Emirates in the summer of 2022, Jesus helped transform the Arsenal squad and was a major part in the north London side becoming regular contenders for the Premier League title.
A versatile forward, Jesus has been deployed across the front line for Arsenal during his four seasons at the club. He has scored 32 goals and provided 22 assists in 123 games for Arsenal, having overcome serious knee injuries.
In Arsenal’s striker pecking order this campaign, Jesus has found himself behind Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz. The Brazilian started just three Premier League games, and his last appearance for his country came in November 2023.
