Revolution close to deal for Leeds winger Jack Harrison

The New England Revolution is closing in on a deal to sign English winger Jack Harrison from Leeds United, sources briefed on the deal tell The Athletic.

Harrison will join the Revs as a designated player, sources add.

Harrison, 29, spent the second half of last season on loan in Serie A with Fiorentina where he provided one goal and three assists.

The English-born winger made his professional debut in America with NYCFC, starring for two seasons before earning a move to Manchester City. He was loaned to Middlesbrough then Leeds, where he was a key figure from 2018 until 2023 when they were relegated from the Premier League.

Harrison then spent two seasons on loan with Everton between 2023 and 2025 while Leeds were in the Championship, before returning to Elland Road for the first half of the 2025-26 season following their promotion back to the Premier League.

Harrison made 219 appearances for Leeds, and was a key player in the 2019-20 Championship winning season, appearing in all 46 matches. His eight goals and eight assists the following year were crucial to the team avoiding relegation in the Premier League.

The winger returns to the United States with the Revs, an area he is familiar with. He first went to America when he was 14-years-old to attend the Berkshire School in Massachusetts, two-and-a-half hours from the Revs stadium.

New England is fourth in the Eastern Conference with 26 points after 15 matches this year. MLS just returned from a nearly two-month break for the World Cup.

Harrison joins former Aston Villa midfielder and former MLS MVP Carles Gil as key figures in attack for the Revs, as well as Israel international Dor Turgeman. U.S. national team goalkeeper Matt Turner recently confirmed his stay at the club this summer on another loan from Lyon.
