Josh Grisetti’s Family Speaks Out After His Death

Josh Grisetti’s loved ones are finding comfort in the outpouring of support.

After the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actor died of suicide on July 10 at the age of 44, Grisetti’s family spoke out publicly via a GoFundMe page they created in his honor. 

“Our hearts are profoundly broken,” they wrote on the page, which was created three days after his death. “Josh was a luminous force across Broadway, television, film, and academia, leaving an indelible imprint on the global creative community. The extraordinary outpouring of love from Los Angeles, New York, Virginia, and beyond stands as a moving testament to the depth of his impact.”

Grisetti’s loved ones noted they created the fundraising page after many “generously asked” how they could support the late actor’s wife Mackenzie Grisetti and their family. 

Any funds raised, they noted, that aren’t “used for the express purpose of bringing closure and managing immediate end-of-life logistics” will be donated to the Entertainment Community Fund, which helps provide mental health services, crisis counseling and support groups tailored to a life in the arts.
