Reba McEntire’s ‘Happy’s Place’ renewed for Season 2 by NBC
“We’re so excited,” McEntire said.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — NBC’s new sitcom, “Happy’s Place” starring Reba McEntire, is being renewed for Season 2.
The TV network posted a video on social media with the caption, “Next round is on us.” In that video, Reba breaks the news to her castmates before filming the final episode of the first season.
“We’re so excited,” McEntire exclaimed. “Tears of joy… what a gift. Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!”
The show first premiered on Oct. 18, 2024. It follows McEntire’s character, Bobbie, who inherits a Knoxville bar from her late father, Happy, and learns she must share ownership with a newly discovered half-sister.
During the first season, the show placed little East Tennessee Easter eggs in several episodes, like Big Orange merch, the Power T, Smokey, a “Keep Knoxville Scruffy” hoodie, and, our personal favorite, a WBIR mug!
