Why Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie Are Not Joining Royal Family for Easter

 

UPDATE: Another royal baby has officially arrived.

Princess Eugenie—who shares sons August, 5, and Ernest, 3, with husband Jack Brooksbank—gave birth to the pair’s third child Aug. 3, a little girl. 

“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6:20 pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal,” a statement read on the royal family’s official Instagram page Aug. 4 alongside a sweet photo of the infant wearing a pink onesie. “The baby was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces.”

The statement added, “Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.”

And Eugenie, 36, was especially thrilled to officially be crowned a girl mom. 

“Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!!” Eugenie wrote on Instagram. “We are beyond in love with our girlie.”

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have grand news to share.

The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson—who is mom to sons August, 5, and Ernest, 2—is pregnant with the couple’s third baby, she announced.

“Baby Brooksbank,” Eugenie wrote alongside a May 4 Instagram post featuring a photo of the couple’s two kids holding a sonogram, “due 2026!”
